Re: Liverpool being bellends
There was a lad in our group chat talking about their players coming home early (Alisson, Konate and Gravenberch) and how it’s good they can rest - until someone pointed out they have nothing to play for and it doesn’t matter. He didn’t like that

They are lying, to try to make everyone , including themselves, think its an exciting league.Evertonfc15 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 22, 2025 9:08 am lpool fans i have spoken to this week are very nervous about the league now

They arent nervous at all, they are about 50 points ahead. There is no title race, its the most boring end to a season in terms of league winners, ive ever known.
But they want everyone to think its exciting.
@StirlingBlue is right, they have nothing to play for, they dont need to rest players for re-start. Theyve won it already, wow, well done....

Re: Liverpool being bellends
They'll win the league by a mile. Not even a convo.
The real dark cloud hanging over their supporters and worrying the fuck out of them is the possibility of Salah, VVD and TAA all leaving for nothing.
Not only would it be a massive loss of talent, which would be incredibly difficult to even get near replacing, but to lose them for zero would arguably be one of the biggest pieces of financial negligence in the history of football.
They would have to work absolute miracles in the transfer market to even stand still. More than likely they'd be back to a team competing for the CL places at best.
Hoping and praying for 3 free transfers.

Oh my god the level of smugness I would exude if the three of them left for free would be off the charts.
