Gana
Re: Gana
He's been immense. Although I do want a period of time now with a different type of midfielder.
I think a sitter (Mangala) and a seek and tackle engine (Gana) is perfect for some games, but for others where the onus is on us to break teams down, we're found lacking ideas.
Moyes might improve that and find other ways, but I've had my fill of Everton midfields that can't create.

Re: Gana
To be fair, we were saying similar about Doucouré at this point last year and then he fell off a cliff - you can never know for sure when age will catch you.
One year deal would be ideal

Re: Gana
Yeah he's phenomenal.
He's also a better footballer than he was in the first stint. He did improve on the ball.

Re: Gana
Were we? I think Doucoure's always split opinion, Gana hasn't and for all Doucoure's ability on the ball has been in question he's still physically able to get around the park. Gana's on a different level both physically and technically though.StirlingBlue wrote: ↑Sat Jan 25, 2025 7:05 pm To be fair, we were saying similar about Doucouré at this point last year and then he fell off a cliff - you can never know for sure when age will catch you.
