I'd be ok with that, pretty good defensive midfielder with leadership qualities which we've lost with Gana leaving.

Could be a pretty shrewd move for low outlay.

Surprised he’s that old, but would be a good buy imo.

One start in the PL all of last season?

Can’t argue with it for £7m unless it ends up costing Hackney significant playing time.

Really important player for some good Brentford sides, never good enough for Arsenal.

Decent insurance for whatever’s going on with Garner.

Only worry is Moyes going with the hyper negative Garner/Norgaard pairing when everyone is fit because that’s an annoying thing he would do.

100% he starts alongside Garner, it's not even up for debate.

Depends on the wage disparity.

Felt to me like Gana knew he could get a hefty payday elsewhere and we were not prepared to match it. I imagine it would have been boxed off quickly had we been anywhere close to what he wanted.

If he rocks up at another European club on a reasonable wage, then yeah, we likely fucked up.

If he ends up in Saudi Arabia for one last huge payday then it’s hard to argue with going this route instead.

Apart from he's not shite, he's actually a good player.

Decent player. We needed a Sander Berge type player and this guys pretty close to that level.
