Expecting a loss obviously, and feels close to a free hit.

My only bit of confidence comes from the idea that Arsenal don't usually hammer teams, so you're usually still in the game and within a goal quite late into the game, which could give us an outside chance of a draw maybe. Also it's in the middle of their CL two legger, which is handy.

Nail Saka first 5. Go on to a fantastic 0-0 draw

They score goals from set pieces and we seem for some reason we concede more than we should from them.

2-0 Arsenal, both goals from corners.

Aren't we one of the best teams statistically defending corners? I do agree it feels like we've let in soft ones but I'm sure we're at the top end of that particular table

Our away form makes me slightly greedy looking at this one, but realistically a draw would be an excellent result.

Not sure the stats tbh, but I meant more what you said about conceding soft goals from them. We're generally strong but I also wouldn't feel confident saying we'd shut out Arsenal because for some reason we have games where we aren't great... and it feels like this will be one of those games.

Prob just spurs that we fucked up so bad with corners.

Spurs and Newcastle we were poor defending corners. Pickford is great but claiming crosses and commanding his area is a bit of a weakness, I can see Arsenal taking advantage of that.

Arsenal have looked pretty shakey lately and were very poor against Brighton.

If they get a goal though you'd expect them to hold out for the win as they're very strong defensively, if we manage to keep out clean sheet to 70+ minutes I can see them throwing bodies forward and being open on the break.

Moyes will definitely recall Keane for this and have him and Tarks parked in our box

Our full backs are getting tortured here. Got to hope Mykolenko pulls a Salah performance out the bag. Just leaves JOB.... Maybe try Garner and Armstrong back in middle.

I think it’ll be four centre backs across the back. Moyes ultra cautious masterclass.

Same as their height will be needed at corners... Will depend on Branthwaite's availability though as Moyes stated we have to manage his minutes from here on in.
