Our much admired and loved physio during our mighty 1980s period has passed away aged 71

Is that all he was, an iconic physio, very much part of that squad, must have been good at his job as I’m sure we only used about 14/15 players that season.

That's a shame, 71 is no age these days.

In the days where team photos (do they even do them these days) were a big thing, staff like John were as familier faces as the players.
