Saw bits of an interview with him the other day saying how tough mentally these injuries can be and that he's pretty much given up hope of making it to the world cup.
I never get the argument "well he's got £150k reasons a week not be depressed" etc, just because he's making huge amounts of money doesn't mean that something like this can't harm his mental health. Regardless of peoples opinion of the player, mental health can affect the wealthy too and fair play to him for speaking up about it.
