Fairly certain that was all sorted when Friedkin had the initial exclusivity period. Paid them off before running aground with the Leadenhall disputeEscalator wrote:Don’t we owe them £ fifty million ?
Again, a slightly negative take on it, but I'm not sure we will get either brains or emotion with this deal, in fact it's almost like their lack of brains sent then down the big Dunc route cause of the emotion of the fans, then it spiralled down hill from therePaddockoldie wrote: ↑Thu Oct 31, 2024 7:32 am I'd rather have people help run the club with brains over emotion. KenWright couldn't see through his tinted glasses, like the doting parent who can't see they're harming their child because they believe they love them too much to do that.
Think you give kenwright way too much credit. He loved owning everton way more than he loved everton. He didn't mind harming the club if it allowed him to cling to power. Saddled us with expensive loans, lied about funding for a great stadium, lied about the quality of an awful stadium, didn't invest a single penny. This wasn't a man that loved us too muchPaddockoldie wrote: ↑Thu Oct 31, 2024 7:32 am I'd rather have people help run the club with brains over emotion. What’s this about the Friedkins going down the Big Dunk route ?Raptor wrote: ↑Thu Oct 31, 2024 9:09 am Again, a slightly negative take on it, but I'm not sure we will get either brains or emotion with this deal, in fact it's almost like their lack of brains sent then down the big Dunc route cause of the emotion of the fans, then it spiralled down hill from there
I think it's more a mixture of both. He was an Evertonian for sure. Much more than a businessman anyway777Kidnappings wrote: ↑Thu Oct 31, 2024 9:16 am Think you give kenwright way too much credit.
