Re: Thierno Barry
Haha in fairness if we had no patience we would have needed a long while ago.Cereal Killer wrote: ↑Mon May 04, 2026 12:53 pm “I don’t want everything now, but I do want a top draw striker, winger and right back”
Also top draw?? Better than beto, able to dislodge mcneil and just a right back please. Maybe them are some high standards.
Re: Thierno Barry
Moyes isnt going to say it in public but he definitely thinks hes been a bit shit, like the majority of the fanbase. Hes just saying manager things.
Re: Thierno Barry
I think attitude and maturity are definitely undeveloped for a 23 year old, but people mature at different ages.Gash wrote: ↑Mon May 04, 2026 11:58 am I'm not sure it's even an age or new league thing, his attitude and maturity has come across as questionable at times, culminating in the whole Arsenal saga plus he's dropped in a couple of really poor perfomances since then, prove the fans wrong, don't give them more to moan about. Add to that sulking whenever he gets subbed and that game where he sat with his shirt over his head for the rest of the game all just comes across that he's quite hard work. I think it's going to be very hard for him to get the fans back onside if he stays beyond the summer.
I'd imagine his confidence is on the floor too.
Maybe we'll never get to see what he could potentially be here, but he scored 14 in 33 at 21 years old for Basel, and 11 in 35 for Villarreal, which suggests there's a player in there.
Re: Thierno Barry
I think he’s genuinely quite good but his technique when shooting is all over the place.
Re: Thierno Barry
So if he doesn't get a couple of goals does that make it okay to say its the worst return for a young striker?Bluedylan1 wrote: ↑Mon May 04, 2026 9:34 am “There is a bigger emphasis on: We need things now, we are looking for that to happen quickly. It is not just here at Everton. I think all clubs are the same. He is young as well, first year in the country, at the moment we have four games to go and if he scores a couple of goals you might say it has not been the worst return for a young centre-forward.”
Re: Thierno Barry
Attitude poor. Workrate poor. Talent still to be decided.
Too many questions still for a lad who should be approaching his prime years.
Maybe another manager will put up with his weird ways but if Moyes is still here next season then he won't be.

Re: Thierno Barry
Yeah I said the same tbf, imagine that's Calvert-Lewin... We've seen him chase all the lost causes and it's something Barry absolutely has to learn.Audrey Horne wrote: ↑Mon May 04, 2026 8:59 pm Why didn't he go for the ball from alcaraz?
That's the issue I have with him.
Re: Thierno Barry
It’s really just a matter of Moyes’ willingness to keep working with him.
The application is inconsistent and that’s the reason why he’s spent so much time on the bench.
Despite that and despite not really settling or showing anything like his best, he’s right in the mix to finish as top scorer.
There’s a player here but maybe not for Everton. We’ll see.

Re: Thierno Barry
8 premier league goals this season, it's a good return for his first season at this level... We all know there's a lot that needs work, but you can't deny the fact he knows where the net is.
