I think he’s saying where’s the contract.

He’s commented after the match. Basically said he loves the club and wants to stay but he doesn’t know if it’s happening as it’s been quiet from the club so far.

Moyes said yesterday the owners aren't addressing contracts til we're mathematically safe, which makes sense I suppose.

Really wouldn't be against another year for him, I know people don't like his ability but he's relentless and he scores important goals at important times. I think he'll be so hard to replace.

If he signs though he will likely still be starting games next season.

Can't have that

Our squad is well short of numbers and we've an awful lot to do. I don't particularly enjoy watching him but I'm not completely against him being here next year. Ultimately it comes down to what he wants. He's on 130k a week which is ridiculous. 1 year at half that then maybe. Not sure he's gonna want half his money regardless of how much he loves the club though

£20k per week and I might be able to handle it.

Don't want to see him live long enough to become the villain and it does feel like that might happen but what a servant he's been.

One more year would suit me down to the ground.

I'd offer a 1 year contract on less pay, with another year extension based on appearances.

Funny that people don't want him signed because he'll start matches.

Might be a sign that he's actually still decent!

Probably go on his usual run of a goal a game until the end now. 1 yr contract with ext on 3rd less salary

When he does leave, people will look back and realise just how good he’s been for us as we struggle to get a player who can make his type of impact on a game.

Been brilliant for us. Not fussed over a new deal myself but it’s mad how under appreciated he still is amongst our fans.

He's the ultimate example of having to take the rough with the smooth really.

He'll do things like today where he wins matches for us, he'll also understandably draw massive groans when he can't get a ball under control or misplaces a simple pass to fuck up a promising attack for us.

I don't want him to see on his current wage, but I'm not against him staying. If he stays I don't think he'll fall off a cliff or anything at some point, I think he'll just continue to be the same player who looks like a competition winner in some games, yet somehow manages to pop up with vital moments from time to time. I think that'll be ok for us next season based on where we'll be in the league and the type of football we'll be likely to play.
