Let's get this straight, Moyes is a million miles ahead of Dyche and his achievements in the game is something the latter can only dream of. They're not the same.
Both ginger dinosaurs though

Worried about that one can't lie. I don't think so ou fight negativity with negativity. We need a boost not bringing down to earth.

Agreed. I just remember being annoyed on behalf of Chelsea fans that time their players downed tools and then started playing again when they got a new manager. That was not all down to the systems etc.
I’d be furious if I was a season ticket holder paying to go see that.
But either way I will be happy to see an upturn. I guess I should just count my blessings he’s gone?
I recon if i was played out of position with long balls being smashed up field all game I'd down tools too.
Especially the arrogance that came with those 'tactics'
Yes we can all relax for a bit x

Honestly, I don't know. I'd just like to revert from the norm, it's really uninspiring and I was hoping a change in ownership would signify a change of direction, this isn't it

Moyes of last season was very much like dyche.
Just hope we don’t get that version.

All fair points. Weren't we in for Kudus as well but couldn't pony up the cash?
Moyes was a very good manager for us but its a long time ago and I would prefer if we were looking forward a bit more with our new owners at the helm.
Yeah, I get that.
I think the base issue is that we all have varying levels of confidence in the squad. Despite how dire the football has been, Dyche had managed to get some kind of tune out of them over the last couple of seasons, so I was loathe to sack him, really. But it couldn't carry on as it has been and it was only a matter of time.
Until we have stabilised and rebuilt the squad, I personally think we need another safe-as-possible pair of hands appointment until we're hopefully out of trouble. Longer-term, I'm fully behind a more progressive appointment, but I just fear it'd sink us.

Also true.
Surely Moyes does better than a checked-out dyche tho right

"The process to find a new manager starts immediately." Not quite a new era then.

Imperative we stay up. If we appoint a permanent manager he can say "nothing to do with me" if we go down. But we will have to start next season well or we will be in a deep hole with another potential sacking in 6 months time.

I think we all need to see what happens in the next few days, heads wobbling about Moyes, only looking at short term etc etc. if they bring Moyes in till the end of the season as a safe pair of hands whilst they look for the right candidate then that’s great in my eyes, and shows long term planning. I know I’d rather go for him till end of season than go and get a more attacking gung Ho type, as this squad isn’t good enough. Moyes is perfect as long as it’s only short term.
And none of us know what’s going on behind the scenes.

From the BBC article: "They are hopeful of making a quick appointment, before the next game v Aston Villa next Wednesday."

I don’t get going for Moyes, he has West Ham performing like a Dyche team in the last few years even with a better squad.
I get he got them a trophy, but if we’re sacking Dyche for being too negative then hiring Moyes doesn’t make sense
Dyche got sacked cos he can’t win a fucking game, the style of football would have been less relevant if results were there
The style of football thing is so lazy, it’s what fans of other clubs are trotting out as our justification and it’s just utter bollocks
Every one of us would have taken this shit til the end of the season if results were good enough to guarantee survival
