Love him. He's an elite player. Just enjoying every minute that we have him and Ndiaye.

I said we need a right back…..never mentioned an 38 year old whose always injured….but if that suits your narrative to create an argument go ahead…..also a left back….also a striker who hits the ground running scoring goals….and I’d sooner keep jack cost and all….and like I said bring in positions that strengthen the team that will bring out the best of him…to bring out the best of them….
Even you must see the logic in that….but what the hey…..
I never mentioned a shit quick direct winger with no end product. See what we did there

I don't think I would be too far wrong to say I'm one of the biggest proponents of the Buy Young Buy Cheap Build a Side type posters on here...but I personally say...it's nice watching an actual footballer for a bit, and it doesn't seem like Everton are getting their shit together transfer wise any time soon so probably better watching him than another Dibbling sit on the bench or whatever

I actually totally agree. Certainly not suggesting we'd be better off without him. Just the we arent really getting full value for him because we arent set up in system or personal to get the most from him.
Like you say its probably not as if it was him or someone with a better profile and equally good. Probably would have just been more shite for the bench instead
Would love us to actually start having real success in the market though. The new lot seem on a par with the last lot making the transfers though

Thought tonight was probably his worst game for us but popped up with the goal.
Does need to cut inside and shoot a lot more.

Probably his worst game for me tonight but he's just too good to drop and his relationship with Hall is golden
