Just how far back exactly did Tuchel tell them to drop?
That image is just so frustrating to look at.
Why is nobody within a mile of the guy at the top of the box that has been taking shots all game long..?
The more I chew on the World Cup outcome, the more it really feels an issue about the squad. Rice clearly seemed to be having issues all throughout and he picked Henderson to go plus a few other weird choices that left us lacking in a number of positions. Put Garner or Wharton in the squad and maybe one of them would actually be on it enough to take up the space in front of the defence.

I’m just hoping Bellingham’s cry of “Straight down the middle!” was in reference to how he was allowed to attack our goal and waltz through an empty midfield!
Nah, I think the niceguy charm offensive mask he was employing in interviews during the tournament slipped.
Just like his cries of “who else” he was making it all about him and exonerating himself from any blame, and picking the easy, media boo-boy target to carry the can.
That clip had no context... Firstly you couldn't tell what he was saying, and secondly it could have been from any part of the match. Unless someone has seen a more lengthy version that shows he was saying straight after the goal?

Excellent player, but a bit of an egotistical dickhead as a fella.
Maybe you need a bit of that to be a top player at a club like Real Madrid, so fair enough. He's quite un-English in that sense. Very little self-deprecation. Always all about him.

Yeah, I would imagine most heads of industry and very high achievers are either narcissists or psychopaths, probably (he says with zero proof whatsoever)

My daughter’s a psychology graduate and apparently there is proof, sociopaths and psychopaths are the most successful entrepreneurs.

All these problems fall on Tuchel like the subs.
Whilst I don't disagree that much of this has to fall on Tuchel, the first goal isn't on the coach and lands squarely at the feet of Anderson for leaving his man. You can blame the coach for a lot of things, subs included, but that there is player error that Anderson has to own.

There are numerous studies of CEO's who share traits with psychopaths, such as lack of empathy. This is why they can cut your job with immediate effect on Christmas eve.... nothing personal
