Can’t say I’m surprised, not sure what they were thinking with that announcement.

Have Real ever had a successful “system manager” like him?

Felt like he was always going to struggle to impose himself on a team with such superstars

Wasn’t sure where to post this but, Dion Dublin showing he has his finger on the pulse of modern football. This in a BBC article asking will an English manager ever win the Prem…

Dublin added: "I think Frank Lampard is at the top of the list along with Sean Dyche at the moment. Whether they're going to do it at the clubs they are at now or whether they get a move or they get poached we don't know."

If only we’d known what we were getting rid of. Shame on us!

Really hope he's had a bet with someone that he wouldn't say something so daft in public.

Glasner confirmed the worst kept secret that he's off at the end of the season.

Going to be some decent managers knocking around in the summer potentially. Alonso possibly if nobody hires him before then, Marco Silva likely, Glasner and rumours about Iraola too.

An ambitious owner would look at the options and see if someone better than the current guy would be a good fit and open to joining…

Whilst some fans will argue til the end of time that Moyes is better than all of them anyway

Glasner reminds me of Miss Cook who taught us PE at school back in the 80's. :)

I'd give Ole Werner a go. Did exceptionally well at Werder over last few seasons and currenly has Leipzig in the top three. That's who we should be targeting as our next manager

I'd sack Glasner if I was Palace owner tbh. Obviously he's been unbelievable for them, but if he's vocally saying he does not want to be there then they should get someone who does.

Would be a terrible decision to sack him now, he has done well for the club and I am sure he’s not going to down tools now . He has given 6 months notice to the club (spoke to Parish about it months ago) which will enable them to search for tge best replacement available rather than a mid season panic change. His contract is ending and he wants a new challenge, nowt wrong with that, compare to Moyes keeping stumm untill the end of the season then fucking off to United when he knew all along he was not going to renew his contract.
