Can’t even be arsed having this discussion you know.
Absolutely STINKS of mediocrity, and I won’t entertain even the thought of making a case for it. Anyone who does should be regarded with scorn and derision.
I feel that way about a lot of things regarding our transfer dealings.
I am so fed up with the right back situation that I don’t even bother moaning about it anymore. Just feels like a waste of energy. I used to let out all my anger and feelings on here but there is a sense of hopelessness about it.
They do say that it is darkest before the dawn though. So maybe we will get a right back next week. Or next year.

Sounds like the Friedkins are happy with an average team but want the ground to generate the money for them.

Ffs why not go into the season with dibling rather than a guy on the downturn this is exactly why Moyes isn’t the right guy
Well that's a separate argument isn't it, and one that probably has a lot of validation.
However we are going in to the new season with Moyes as manager and we won't be seeing Dibling as first choice RW, so I tend not to get pissed off with things that aren't going to change, as it's wasted energy.
Ideally we move McNeil on and strengthen the RW position, but I doubt we'll have much to spend beyond what we generate from McNeil's potential sale, so it'll be slim pickings.

Oh it 100% stinks of mediocrity, and it's not like I have Murphy at the top of my wish list for Everton players.
I'm just realistic that we've already spent about £50m and it's unlikely we'll spend much if anything on the wide positions. We'll either try and get Grealish back or get someone cheap and unwanted by their current club if that doesn't happen.
Unfortunately we still need a new RB where the majority of our remaining funds should go, which means we will be needing something cheap and that does a job should Grealish not be coming back. That's the reality.
Now if we can pick up some genuinely talented player instead we 100% should do that, but I think we all know that's unlikely given at that price point they tend not to exist, and if they did Everton wouldn't be aware of them.

So tell us at the NME about where the idea came from for your best selling Grunge album, the album people are hailing as the most important since Nevermind.
'Well, I suggested on NSNO there was at least some merit in signing Jacob Murphy from Newcastle, and it just all grew from there really'.

Reports Spurs want £40m for Spence. Might as well go for
Doue

Yeah I like Spence but I'd be looking around half that for him. £40m gets you a Doue or similar like you said.

Murphy - 25 goal involvements over the past 3 seasons.
Grealish - 15 goal involvements over the past 3 seasons.
I'm not saying Murphy is a better player than Grealish, but his numbers and availability are considerably higher.
Grealish’s primary value is ball retention.
He basically never gives it away regardless of area of the pitch. Even if he’s in an impossible position, he either digs an accurate pass out, shifts his body around until he’s out of it, or baits the defender into fouling him.
For a team that struggles with territorial control, that is colossal. His superpower is the exact one we need. When he holds the ball, all the rest of our attackers have time to take up good positions and work something until there’s space for a shot or final ball into the box.
I wouldn’t shell out for any other 30 year old wingers. You have to be a wizard.

Wild player to have top of our wish list for anywhere near that price.
If we have that to pay, go for Doue. If not, save money on one of the cheaper, older players.

It's madness to me that we would be in for Murphy. Dog shit.

Do you not remember the conversation about 3 weeks ago where it was said by someone from the Echo I think that we only had £50m to spend this summer?
