The Bellingham clip is classic social media rubbish. I don’t know why people still get sucked in by this.

He could be saying anything about anything in that moment.

True, but it was pretty much down the middle, so could also be true

It's just the Echo and associated papers quoting the story, there's a video shows Bellingham looking at the big screen and apparently saying "it's the middle of the goal" but that's it. I think Neville seems to think he should have done better but there's no widespread criticism of him.

Pickford was not in anyway the problem last night. It's mad that it's even being discussed as a possibility by anybody. And those bellends Neville and Carragher seem to blame keepers all the time as a default stance.

Fundamentally I dont think anything has been OTT for Picks, they just said he shouldve done better for the Enzo shot. Everyone is in agreement that Tuchel is 100% to blame, however, following that are there others that contributed, yes there were. Should Enzo have been closed down quicker - 100% yes, should Picks have then done better with the shot - yes, he probably should, thats been the narrative from all.

We just pick up on the bits related more to our players, but most (all) are holding Tuchel culpable for this - which is deserved, as realistically they couldve scored 4 or 5 following his subs

Played well, some good stops, beaten from distance and by a cross.

Rinse repeat.

Shot came through a few players, but most importantly it moved away from him with the weird swerve this new non round ball has.

I don't think enough has been made of how this ball moves weirdly through the air, but it's caught out multiple keepers.

Just don't really think Pickford has much blame for the goal tbh. The defensive line was so deep no one was anywhere near the player when he receives it, and despite Bellingham's best effort to close down it was too late. After that it's traveling through players and swerving away from the keeper.

Any goalkeepers criticised him?

Yeah, he’d have a better chance of saving it if he didn’t have 8 players stood on his toes.

A bit rich from Bellingham. If he’d have been out quicker rather than snoozing like Sigurdsson then speeding up pointlessly when it’s already too late he could’ve blocked it.

Hope he goes off on holiday with his beloved Henderson now and they can bitch about Pickford for a week and then feel better about themselves.

I think we've seen him save better, but this time he didn't. Doesn't mean it was a howler, he just wasn't able to save the day for this effort in the same way he did for the point blank header.

He's played poorly in the groups but as always when the big games come round he pulls top drawer saves out the bag, he did it at Mexico and last night. All on the system, the manager and defence last night. His goal was getting peppered from the minute they scored. Nonsense to suggest he was somehow responsible

Third highest rated player on the BBC rankings. Bit mad to say England won’t win anything while he’s in goal - it’s highly unlikely they’ll ever win anything with most of that team. When you look at the competition he’s got - well there isn’t any is there.
