Isn’t that meant to be Röhl and Armstrong?

Can't help but feel excited for next season if we add on the expected quality you'd imagine we will.
The following team isn't necessarily a suggestion, the new players are more examples of the type you'd imagine Moyes will demand we bring in. This would certainly make us a very different proposition!
--------------------------------- Pickford
Wan-Bissaka--------Tarks-------JOB---------Antonee Robinson
---------------------------Garner----------Tim
Ndaiye---------------------------KDH-------------------Grealish
-------------------------------------Toney
As stated these are just examples, but if we added these particular types of players it's hard to see us not challenging for top 6.
Add in a couple of other exciting players for depth, especially a fast winger and I think we'd have a fantastic season.

Myko has an option for the club to extend his contract by 1 year (according to Patrick Boyland).

Another opportunity but ive very little faith in them getting it right. Whatever anyone's opinions of individual players we signed we ultimately signed a load of players moyes doesnt want to play over the last 2 windows. That cant happen again

Makes sense, we aren't in a position to buy 2 left backs this summer so keep Myko as backup and buy an attacking pacy LB as our starter.
Would be mad to let him go on a free and have to reduce what we can spend on a starting LB as a result.

I think he'll get exactly what he asks for this summer, rightly or wrongly.

We won’t be signing a left back if mykolenko is still here.
They’ll kick the can down the road just like they did last summer with giving Keane a new deal.

Maybe, who knows... I think the thing here is that if we can't afford to spend on an LB it would be even more crazy to let our only one leave on a free.

Crazy not to have left back and centre half as a top priority for improvement.

Agree on LB but also think we'll sign one.
CB is well below RB and striker though for me.

Yep, expecting to see Stones, Sterling, Trippier, Gallagher (if Spurs go down) announced at some point during the summer

The people there then, for those decisions, are either no longer at the club, or hardly had the time to even meet the other backroom staff by the time the transfer window closed, let alone time to work with the in-house scouting and data teams, or look at long and short terms signings, strategy, etc.
It's pretty common knowledge that many of the signings were those that were either already in the frame during the time of Thelwell and his team, or were Moyes-approved signings.
I'm not sure we should be assessing the new crop of talent identifiers, based upon the hit and miss results of previous incumbents.
This against a backdrop of huge structural change.

I dont know whos responsible for what but moyes said the other week we've been looking for a right back for over a year. We desperately needed pace on the wings. We paid our second biggest fee for dibling who isnt fast and is behind mcneil and his short term replacement George. We needed a goalscorer signed barry whos both worse than beto and 1 of the most unliked players in our recent history of signing players we dont like. We signed rohl and alcaraz who cant get in the team. We signed a left back who isnt trusted to play at all. The entirety of the last 2 windows is KDH being a success an expensive loan for grealish and a load of others who've failed to surpass players we all thought were rubbish
Christ we've signed 2 players to replace mcneil and mcneil is still playing
