And to think people said we'd end up with Jack Harrison and in serious relegation trouble just a few days ago.

Coping mechanisms built to maintain some shred of sanity when faced with yet another everton transfer window.

Absolutely delighted with this on many levels, with level one being that it cements our first 11 as having the best hair in the league.

90s curtains to top it off from the young man.

I did have a nostalgic moment remembering my hair circa 1993 when I saw the signing on pics. I'll give it 6 weeks before he has a peroxide mudflap mullet.

To be fair, that was when Soton wanted 50M + 25% sell on.

When was the last time we had 3 attacking players as talented as Grealish, Ndiaye and Dibling?

Lukaku, Barkley, Deulofeu? And none of those are on Grealish's level.

While neither party has been willing to disclose the exact nature of the sell-on clause, The Athletic has been told, by sources who wished to remain anonymous to protect relationships, that it is not as high as the 20 per cent figure reported in some quarters.

Feels like a rare W for the club this, doesn't it?

Probably the most reassuring action that has come out of the club since the take over.
