Fair enough. A.consistent performer for a top half side I should say. Pushing for Europe.StirlingBlue wrote: ↑Sat Jun 06, 2026 9:52 am Classic Everton fan response - he’s somehow both not good enough for the PL but also worth twenty five million!

Re: Tim Iroegbunam
I don’t think anybody is giving us twenty mil for him though.
More likely half that, with the other half in performance related add ons and sell on clauses

Dare we though. We are a bit shit. We could relegate ourselvesMatt1878 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 06, 2026 1:29 pm Be nice to be in a position where we loan our young players to PL teams to develop rather than Championship. A years loan for him to Ipswich, Dibling to Coventry or Alacarz to Hull, with plenty of game time (except against us).
Then if a success, they either buy a player they love with a PL sized budget or they come back the finished article.
When was the last time we ever loaned to another PL club? Feels a better model going forward.

Got £12m for Ben Godfrey, should be able to get at least £15m plus some add ons.
It would need nice if we could take the risk of leaning him out in case he blows up and ends up worth £50m but I think our position likely better to move him on unless his role in the team is going to increase this season.

Re: Tim Iroegbunam
I think Tim is ok and a useful player to have in the squad. Wouldn't be rushing to move him on unless we get a decent bid, but he should be more than a squad player that we utilise when we need an extra body to sure up the middle.
