Might well be waiting for Dyche to go, and a fresh start at Bramley Moore, under a different manager where he gets to play some footie and gets some service.
I know we're not meant to acknowledge that a lot of footie players treat their career like a job, but I can absolutely imagine myself being uninspired and waiting for this manager to leave if I was a player.
So he's either shit or just waiting to be arsed. Which puts him in the best light

Well I don't think he's shit, but I imagine he's struggling with confidence in front of goal and probably a bit fed up with how we play and how he gets used.
Dyche has done some positive things with DCL, like getting him fit again and always picking him through lean patches but I don't think the way we ''play'' would be enjoyable or motivating in any way.

Couldn't tell if it was frustration at coming off or more 'sick of this thankless task' kinda vibe.
I think probably the latter as it must be horrible playing his role.
Think he was looking at the big screen and maybe thought about looking angry, but in that moment he then realised he deserves to be hooked.
In the current version of Dyche tactics I think Beto is the more sensible option? If we used a “target man” in the traditional sense then it would be DCL all day. But as we’re in the process n it’s pressure, press at the last min then wallop it hard and fast up top it suits a runner more than a link-up man.
Neither are top drawer but Beto at least makes things happen and puts big effort in, a defender would rather have to deal with Lewin rather than Beto at the moment
Dcl is good at what dyche wants him to do but is so isolated all the time even Beto yesterday watch the one where he gets taken down he is the only Everton player in their half dcl still streets ahead of Beto in terms of what this coach wants from a striker
DCL to hold the ball up. Beto to take shots and knock in the odd half-chances.
If we’re stuck with Dyche’s 1 up top tactics then it’s DCL all day long.
Beto would just run himself into the ground without ever getting near the ball.

It doesn't work, they're not compatible. When they've played together DCL has had to play a bit deeper which isn't his game and they looked to have absolutely no chemistry.
You can't have 2 strikers who both want to play as the furthest forward.
