No am saying liz being offended by someone saying aids is maybe going abit too far. And I meant it kind of jokey like ie do we try to use aids as a positive term, Obviously it's up to her what offends her and as u say being offended by someone saying aids is a strange hill to die on, no offence is intended

I know what you mean and I did hesitate a bit tbf.

I know sometimes I can speak from a position of privilege, so need to consider other people’s experience and perspective too, but I don’t think it should become taboo. When things are taboo you get fuckers hiding in plain sight because people are scared to mention it or talk about it.
