I'm with you. Weak mentality, average player. Be glad to see the back of him.
So true. Its only a bit of cancer thats keeping you up and in hospital at nights. Weakling. Its not even his cancer

Yes, I was of course referencing his partner's cancer, not anything to do with the footballer and character he's shown for a majority of his tenure. Glad we're on the same page.

Wow okay one of the biggest swings I’ve ever seen on here in defence of a player from a poster who is usually so relentlessly horrible about anyone not connected to Burnley football club, but okay!
Personally I think he’s one paced and one footed, and while he possesses plenty of technique and ability he is ultimately a shite player at this level.
Has ended up going the championship though eh?

Hes a bit crap but he was 1 of the better players in terms of keeping us up. Hes declined from that and weve gotten better. Its time to go but he absolutely deserves to go with our best wishes and some praise (compared to most of what weve had) i hate burnley. Think ive been nicer about all our ex burnley players than most though
Think calling him mentally weak while hes spent half his time in hospital with his partner because he was crap at football at the same time is a bit off. Deli Ali got treated better. He contributed the square route of fuck all and probably will end up costing us more too

I think most of the squad are, hence the collapses at the end of the season.
My issue with McNeil is that when he loses the ball once, or is having a bad game he seems to become an absolute shadow of a footballer. Shies away from the ball, plays everything too safe, telegraphs what he's doing. It's like he is trying really hard not to make a mistake as opposed to trying to actually do what he's in the team for which is to make things happen.Rarely see him sprinting to win a ball back he's lost, or running at a defender, drops his head all the time when he's on the pitch when things aren't going his way. Just doesn't look like a player who is hungry and confident in himself, frequently looks defeated and miserable. Wasn't always like that, he had a good spell when he was more in the middle where he was less exposed for his lack of pace. So he is somewhat capable, but most of the time he plays like a player who's out of his depth. That's why I question his mentality, nothing to do with his Megan's illness.

We scored 40 goals in 23/24, and he was involved in 9.
We scored 42 in 24/25 and he was involved in 10.
People have very short memories.
