Surely it hasn’t gotten so bad we are talking ourselves into gray and Harrison coming back
Re: January Transfer Window
Never has "found his level" been more appropriate for Demarai Gray. I liked him but he's too inconsistent.

The good thing is we have this problem and yet are still in the top half of the table at Christmas.
Years gone by we’d be having this conversation in the bottom five.

Re: January Transfer Window
Single game sample size, but… Composed, reads it well, well timed in the tackle and aggressive. Seems decent but I’m curious as to his pace. If he’s fast I’m all in, but if he’s not… there must be others that are.

I think if we had anything to spend we'd have done so in the summer. Would make no sense keeping transfer funds back when we were so desperately short of full backs in the summer.Kerryblueboy wrote: ↑Mon Dec 15, 2025 8:34 am We have to spend on at least one player along with a loan or 2 that will be enough until the summer but it needs to happen quickly I fear what our team will look like by mid January without reinforcements
Think the most likely scenario is we get a loan in but only someone desperate for game time with the world cup coming up, who plays for a team that are willing to let them go out for no loan fee.

I know what you’re saying, but that is only true if you discount the possibility that we are inept enough to take so long to get deals done that we ran out of time in the summer while still having cash in the bank.
Me?? I’m open to it.
