This season at full back will have done him the world of good, as it did with Lescott having a season at left back. Not been ideal seeing him struggle sometimes out wide but in the bigger picture as long as Moyes sees him as a first choice centre half next season it will have been worth it.

Mad that Dyche didn't see him as good enough to get anywhere near the first team.

Fully agree with this. If we didn’t have so much to play for over the next few games I would be expecting Moyes to start phasing him in and seeing how he does.

I forgot that Dyche hardly played him. Mental.

I just think if we can transition to Jake and Jarrod at CB, they'll be immense.

That's the dream, but only works if we can keep Jarrod fit.

His record right now really isnt great.
