Did well today, as I predicted he scored 2 today, but I still think we could quite easily never see him score again.
Leicester was atrocious at the back and whilst the finishes were great I doubt we'll find it as easy to slip him in against other teams.
Hope the goals give him confidence though as if he can do what he did today again a few times we'll pick up more wins as a result.

I think you will see him do quite well against the modern defensive tactics of a lot of PL sides. Many of them like to play a high line, which will suit him down to the ground.
I just like him as a person as well. He really cares and wants to do well. He has a desire to play and improve and that should mean a lot with the types of players we want going forward.
I hope he grabs his opportunity and shows more of the clinical finishing that he displayed today.
He probably won’t be the starting striker for us next season but he is a great option to have in reserve.

Hes sound. Play him in behind and he causes chaos. Defenders dont want big quick lads running at them.
Hes a very good finisher too.

The thing with beto's finishing is he either scores or hits the corner flag
Don't get me wrong I really like him but his accuracy can be very wild
Where as dcl misses alot but not by much
Beto does seem more confident and composed
Shame for dcl tho that he got injured because I think he would have started hitting the back of the net more with moyes here,
I really want to see beto succeed here, I do think he can be a decent striker in the right situations and he seems like a really good lad who appreciates the opportunity and gives his all, from working in KFC to playing for Everton is quite the fairytale

During his post match interview, when asked about his goals, he said the performance was for Dom, Mangala and Dwight, and the club, and it sounded genuine.
He did slightly hint that we're now playing to his strengths, but he comes from a good place.

Would have been lovely if it worked out and he went on a run of jelavic style goals

I fully disagree with him 'hitting the corner flag' i know he has missed a few sitters while here, but i think hes probably our strongest finisher in terms of forward players

After Ndiaye anyway.

Deserves credit for today but there does need to be the caveat that Vestegaard and Faes aren't premier League CBs and the high line Leicester played suited him.
I suspect Van Dijk will probably pocket him comfortably in a week unfortunately.

I think because he’s a big lump, he doesn’t want to be trying to jink and skip and glide around people. Put it in front, let him get it in his stride and he is more comfortable and can strike the ball well and finish well.
He’s not built like Messi.
If he had that skill and balance as well as his size, speed and power he would be Ronaldo (R9) MKII
