I'll be honest, the links felt kinda random last summer but he's had a good season and seems to be pretty pivotal to how Villa work. Whenever he's out they seem to do worse anyhow.

So, while I'd still not sign him at this point, he's maybe one of those slightly donkey work players that you perhaps don't appreciate unless you watch Villa every week? Certainly has a decent eye for goal too. In fairness to Moyes he has a decent eye for a player as well.
