Worried they’ll go for moyes after the success of appointing ranieri at Roma.
I’d hate it myself. I don’t think he guarantees stability at all.
I can't find the table now, but I swear i saw something that highlighted the relevant managers success in their first 6 months, and he had a win percentage of something like 28%, he was an outlier either way. It obviously improved from there on, but it was evidence that he doesn't come in and hit the ground running.

I could only accept Moyes until end of season, but doubt if he would take it on those terms
It could end up being Dyche, Moyes or Tait on a temporary basis (which Dyche pretty much is!)
If someone is given a two and a half year contract, and does not escape relegation...?

Dyche has been parking the bus to the guy who coined the phrase, the circle is complete.

I don't think Moyes would come, recent comments and also being the cautious type he is he wouldn't want his legacy to be the one who took Everton down should he be unable to turn it round.

Definitely doesn’t guarantee stability but I don’t hate the idea.
Aside from the lack of a proper attacking option at LB, this squad has a lot of elements he likes to work with.
We know he’s conservative in a lot of ways Dyche is but simple improvements to the positions we deliver crosses from and giving the attacking players behind the CF a little more attacking license could pay huge dividends. We’re already fairly organized off the ball, the attack only needs a few ideas to be able to put us in the position to actually win some games.

He'd jump at I think. A lot of his comments are posturing imo and he's already nearly came back twice before (think we went for Koeman and Ancelotti instead)

Can't be arsed with Mourinho
Just be a normal football club please

I think Mourinho would lose his fucking mind working with this standard of player but I would still do it over retaining Dyche any longer.

Moyes would basically be what we thought appointing Dyche would bring so I'd be reluctant for that reason, but in many ways Moyes on a 2.5 year deal makes a fuck load of sense.
I'd rather it was someone with a more attractive style but given the rebuild needed and stability required Moyes is about as well suited as you could get.

During one of the worst periods in our history we could have been managed by Ancelotti and Mourinho.
Mad times.

Southgate would be as bad as possible. Moyes and mourinho would be uninspiring but safe picks

His record over the last few years isn’t that bad.
I think he takes us to midtable quite comfortably but you’d have to invest quite heavily and be ready for the toxicity when it arrives.
I’d rather not, but I could see the reasoning behind it.

Friedkins could undo a lot of the early good will they have with a silly appointment like Mourinho or Southgate.
Have always been an advocate for bringing Moyes back but fuck giving him a contract that goes beyond this season, so that's a non starter for me.
Much as I hate him, I would sooner limp to safety with Dyche and appoint a longterm, non-toxic candidate in the summer.
