Garner getting some unwarranted criticism here. He's a limited player playing about par for his level. We know we need an upgrade but he doesn't pick himself and he's doing the best with the rather limited talents he has. Unfortunately we have one of the worst scouting setups in the league so we continually revert back to the same players after every transfer window as we can't seem to move the needle on, despite spending money to try and improve us.

When someone says playing at his level it’s the premier league he is playing in it as a midfielder be a bit braver with the ball try a forward pass and stop always looking for the safe option
