He's mostly there to instil an understanding of the club and culture to the 9/10 new players we need to sign.

Yeah, it's fine to be fair, you need someone around who gets the club especially during a period of huge change.

I think basically he will be a quasi-coach role, where he's an intermediary between the manager and the players, and if he's ever needed to play 2/3 games a season because of an injury crisis he's always there.

He'll probably have a dual role anyway, player coach type thing and I would think his wages will be closer to a coaches than an average premier league player.

Someone posted on Twitter he bumped into him at the Jota memorial on Friday night, 11:30, laying flowers and having a read of the tributes.

When asked why he was there so late he said he wanted to pay his respects without the fuss of the cameras, etc.

I seen this myself, and thought it was nice of the guy to then make a fuss of it on social media. Something Coleman didn't want.
