I like him. Has his limitations, of course, but is very very good at the things he does well. Didn’t realise people think he has a hard man image. I always thought the opposite. Don’t the players call him granddad because he’s always there for them and to put an arm around someone when they need some love or to calm them down? Doesn’t sound like someone cultivating a hard man image to me. And getting at the ref is just a part of the game these days. More of a wind up merchant I’d say. Which is a good thing in my mind.

He'll be out of the line-up pretty soon as Dyche leaves. Should have been sent off today and becomes a rash defender when he has to anything other than meat and potatoes defending

Looks all at sea when we're having more of the ball and it's a stark contrast to when we're playing backs to the walls where he's generally really good.

He's just incapable of playing in a team that's expected to push up the pitch and be more progressive. Shame as I think he's been a really good signing but if we want to move on to a new manager with better ideas I think he's another who will need replacing.
