I prefer to see it as they have a longer term plan and were never expecting us to be in that area so soon.

Short answer is: they should have more than one plan.

Yes if 1 of the top 7 win the fa cup and England are 1 of the best performing in Europe this season

It'll almost certainly go down to 8th.

The 5 champions league places are very likely.

1 Conference League

As long as the usual rabble in the top 7 win the FA Cup then it'll be 8th.

Top 6 look nailed on so it’s a mini league of about half a dozen for the other place(s).

We've just best Fulham away, starting to look up the table, which means we will get beat against Bournemouth.

Depending on results tomorrow could very well be 6 points separating 13th and 6th.

Amazing that no one has really managed to pull away yet. Sort out our home form and we'd be in with a shout.
