newcastle and fulham are the biggest challengers here
hoper harry wilson gets crocked and newcastle just get too tired playing so many games
we have a chance though esp with all our best players back

Considering we’ve not gone into the market I think we can assume the club don’t share these aspirations

Doesn't sound like we'll bring anyone in. Opportunity missed with the way this season is shaping up to grab a conference league spot
10th place finish at best.

I prefer to see it as they have a longer term plan and were never expecting us to be in that area so soon.

Short answer is: they should have more than one plan.

What's it likely to go down too?
Could it be 8th?

Yes if 1 of the top 7 win the fa cup and England are 1 of the best performing in Europe this season

It'll almost certainly go down to 8th.
The 5 champions league places are very likely.
2 Europa League
1 Conference League
As long as the usual rabble in the top 7 win the FA Cup then it'll be 8th.

Top 6 look nailed on so it’s a mini league of about half a dozen for the other place(s).

We've just best Fulham away, starting to look up the table, which means we will get beat against Bournemouth.

Depending on results tomorrow could very well be 6 points separating 13th and 6th.
Amazing that no one has really managed to pull away yet. Sort out our home form and we'd be in with a shout.
