Re: Future Captain Harrison Armstrong
Now let's calm down, let's all take our medication and enjoy Forest hopefully still getting something at Anfield.

Re: Future Captain Harrison Armstrong
Doesn’t change anything.
I’m not sure it was even reported that he wasn’t in the squad?

Think you’re right about trauma. I’m defo in the believe it when it’s official camp but this one really got meBluedylan1 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 29, 2026 12:40 pm Of course we're not selling him to Forest for £40m. What are we even talking about here?
We're like trauma victims. Forest can ''work on'' a £40m bid all they like, it doesn't mean for a second it's even being remotely entertained. I'm working on cleaning the back bedroom and learning Spanish.
Good luck on the back bedroom
Re: Future Captain Harrison Armstrong
Still getting over selling Alan Ball to Arsenal myself ......
Guess much depends on what the player wants to do as seems to be the case these days.
I've been most impressed with the bits I have seen of Armstrong recently. V Preston, off the ball he was pointing and directing "senior" players, full of confidence, great to see.

Re: Future Captain Harrison Armstrong
They board would be mad to sell him. And Moyes too. Now the squad news is settling things down, its hard to believe that it would happen.
Re: Future Captain Harrison Armstrong
Changes it a lot for me. Changes it to interest from a club in one of our best players, from the club keeping him out of the squad ready to sell him. Two very different circumstances.

*Opens thread on page 38.. "whats all this then..?"...
page 33 was only a few minutes ago... hmmm whats occuring, when did this kick off......?Page 29... nope... page 24....
*Reads page 24.... ahhh fuck right off..
Efc1986.. it was the "medical booked tomorrow" bit where you lost me.
No doubt there has been an enquiry but, he supposedly got called yesterday, doesnt want a move but has medical booked for tomorrow regardless? Nah.

Re: Future Captain Harrison Armstrong
Doesn't mean we aren't selling but does indicate Moyes doesn't want to at all

Re: Future Captain Harrison Armstrong
Do us all a favour, count to 120 before you post any goal updates in the matchday thread.
Re: Future Captain Harrison Armstrong
To me it sounds like its seriously being considered. Maybe leaked to get a pulse on what supporters would think but it would be odd to have this much pressure around it if we had told Forest not for sale at any price (which is what we should be doing).
I can understand him having some interest if hes been told he'll be in the first XI in CM vs likely being outside the XI here when everyone is fit or shunted to the wing by Moyes.
