Jarrad Branthwaite
Re: Jarrad Branthwaite
I may be wrong here but isn’t Lisandro martinez left footed?
You can’t be having two left footed centre halves can you?

Re: Jarrad Branthwaite
At his age he's got another big move in him after United. I don't think this will harm his career at all.

80m is 100% fair. He's worth every penny.

Re: Jarrad Branthwaite
That's comforting if the BBC info is correct. We're citing Maguire and Gvardiol prices and wanting something in that sort of range.
Re: Jarrad Branthwaite
Joyce sent a tweet (now deleted) "I've not written that story please correct" and his name has been removed from the article.Bluedylan1 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 13, 2024 11:14 pm That's comforting if the BBC info is correct. Obviously doesn't necessarily mean much but might be something in him not willing to put his name on it.

Re: Jarrad Branthwaite
You're not just buying him for what he's got now. It's the potential he has to be a world class player. We didn't realise this when we sold Rooney... fool me once and all that.
Re: Jarrad Branthwaite
It’s a world record or nothing in my mind. £70m isn’t enough for what we would be letting go of. Not just the player but also how strong he makes the defence.
If they make it a world record fee, then we might have to say goodbye. Until then, Utd can piss off.

Re: Jarrad Branthwaite
The big question is, whose decision will it be that agrees the deal or not, Moshiri, Thelwell, Dyche , new potential owners in the background ?
Re: Jarrad Branthwaite
Yep this is really key to the deal.
There will be those that are 100% against (Dyche), Thelwell probably in the middle, and Mosh will likely do whatever is necessary for him to be able to sell the club. I doubt very much any new owners would want to sell him unless the money is excellent.
Re: Jarrad Branthwaite
No one knows either exactly how much we need to, supposedly, raise before July 1st.
It's been documented that Forest need to raise £34M. We could do with a bit of clarification on our situation.
We might not even need to raise anything, could do with knowing to see what power we have here as they could have us by the balls.
He needs to go for a lot more.

Can’t be bothered getting angry about it.
It’s always been a part of the game.
Let’s just use whatever we can spend correctly and become a better team.

I’m sure the club knows exactly how much.Cozzie wrote: ↑Fri Jun 14, 2024 7:19 am No one knows either exactly how much we need to, supposedly, raise before July 1st.
