He's at the scene of the crime again and again. It's nothing we don't know about him.

Glad he's managed to play to the level he's played at, can't wait to see him go.

Dreadful sign for Jake imo as well. Must be a bang bang average CB if you can't get in past Mick Keane in 2025.
Think that's more due to the lack of a RB than his ability at CB to me.

Been our best defender this season. Seems a bit silly blaming our best defender for the xg against

@TheRam Haven't you mentioned before about Moyes' dreadful xGA stats at West Ham?

Maybe it's a system thing more than a Keane thing.

Branthwaite miles better like.

Yeah, West Ham conceded something like 75 goals in his last season there.

Took some hammerings at home as well.

Has he though?

And you're discounting the things that impact the team and the defence in general whenever he plays - we're unable to get out of our box, he drags the entire defensive line backwards, and when he does step up he's beaten on the turn.

He's been the same since we signed him. Gets good reviews for hammering home chances and putting his head on stuff in the box, as he very well should, but the reality is he is very poor and a big part of why we are crap.

Tarkowski comes across as a lot better when looking at the numbers.

I’d say Keane has been better than him like but it does show how there really isn’t much difference between the two other than Keanes goal threat.

Think tawkowski has been very lucky in that hes made a lot of big mistakes that didnt lead to goals.

Especially given the xG against vs goals conceded is top 5.

If you think Keane has jumped up, eyes on the ball, and then mid-air been crafty enough to purposely tug on his hair as Keane heads the ball himself, for about half a second, you've lost the plot.

It was so clearly an accident, hes just clenched his hand with the tension of winning a challenge.

At least we won’t see this one bumping into the other one for a few weeks. Silver linings and all that.

I would give him the benefit of the doubt. CBs are grabbing by nature - as anyone who’s played the game can attest.

You can't pull someone's hair, but if the only rule that you can use to send someone off is violent conduct I don't know how you can stand there and keep a straight face telling 50k+ people that this incident was that.

It's not even a foul. Dangle your dreads into my hand as im clenching up to power a header down the field and its probably getting grabbed.
