I didn't see or follow the game, but an Everton team with Godfrey in it doesn't win very often. I may be way off, but that's how I feel whenever I see the lineup.

Does make me sad that this is what our last season of Goodison has ahead of it.

3 wins in 14 matches.

Maybe getting out of Goodison isn't a bad thing tbh, as sacrilegious as that might be to say.

Congratulations we won by 0.24 of a goal. That's a draw.
Skewed by us throwing everyone forward for Garner's 'corner'. I'd bet any money that the Xg is far more in our favour prior to that moment.

That's shite and you know it.

Their third goal only happens because we've got everyone forward and had no impact on the result. We outplayed them and pens have to count - they are a chance created due to getting to ball in the box and the other team making an error.

Players need to finish their chances, even the goal was a fluke off his shoulder. Keeper also played a blinder mind you.

I dont think Dyche is great but we deserved to win today.

Never felt like we were in control of that today and the management of the game from 1-0 was terrible.

Sat off immediately and let them get straight back into the game.

Gomes on for Harrison and shifting garner to the right was such a weak sub

Get dobbin on and stretch their defence.

Think we lost something when Dom came on as well.

It’s ok to change the shape from time to time, Dyche.

Phillips for ward prowse was moyes saying he’s happy with a point and we let them score two goals.

Dyche is never putting dobbin in there never I would have accepted Patterson for Harrison to try and help Godfrey and use Patterson to get down the line but dyche doesn’t believe in changing the shape or thinking outside the box

Concerning that we scored a third of what we should have, and they scored at more than twice what they should have.

It seems that we're pretty consistently underperforming in front of goal. We're more than 15 goals worse from open play than we should be, and nearly 5 goals worse from dead ball situations.

20 odd goals left out there, had we been merely 'average' finishers and taken these chances we'd be in a pretty decent position.

West Ham are 7th, and we looked every bit the same level if not better than them today... Yet we lost 3-1. Literally finishing was the only thing that made them come out on top.

Zouma scores from a corner - we can't get it over the line from ours.

Coufal scores a worldy - Beto from the same spot and with a far easier chance hits it at the keeper.

That's the difference and it's costing us soooo many fucking points. If there's a way to keep the ball out of the opponent's net you can guarantee we'll find that way instead of putting in in the onion bag.
