Anyone know when Broja is due to return to fitness?
It’s the international window, we won’t lose him for any games this month 🤷‍♂️

Found the relevant Athletic blurb (wasn't from Paddy, but rather the Chelsea beat writer):

Everton do not want to rush the 23-year-old’s return and will continue to be cautious. Their game at West Ham United on November 9 is probably going to be too soon so the home match against Brentford on November 23, which comes after the final international break of the year, is a more likely target.

And good catch, Sam. Y'all know I'm a dragon chaser, not some hippie pothead*!

Because having spent 12 months with Everton they can now buy a player that we paid 25m euros for at a knock down price of probably in the region of 5 to 10 million.

He's an awful buy. I get that it's an extremely limited market for players we can buy now and pay later but we are still going to be paying 25m for a player who isn't very good and doesn't fit our system.

At this point it appears we would have just been better off setting fire to half the money than signing him. Our circumstances makes signing decent players extremely difficult but it also means every penny counts. We can't afford to get any signing so wrong and we've had so many over recent years who've contributed close to zero

At this point if we get 10m for him we need to just cut our losses. He doesn't feature at all anyway

Really pleased for this lad today. His reaction and interviews showed how much it means. There’s some passion there.

He’s terrible.

Nice for him to get the goal but he’s like a loose horse in the grand national.
