Its criminal that Southgates England decided they'd desperately try to defend a 1 goal lead and then having lost that play for penalties against bloody Italy. Have they qualified for anything since?

Certainly a cruel way to go out. Kind of like the idea of the 'reduce players by 1' scenario. But, injuries etc. Something to encourage attacking play in Extra time at least.

Bosnia & Herzegovina had the run of play with most of the ball, many more shots on goal and looked the most attacking, even before Italy's red. Think that result at least was justified. Denmark not so much.

Yet again Italy adopt the high moral ground. First, they avoided Putin's tournament, then the Qatari one, and now Trump's.

I didn't watch it, but knowing Italy they were as conservative AF. Try and win a game for a change
