This lad is a mope and not worth half of the money we pay him. Waste of wages.

The shot that was heading for a throw in.

The air shot.

He's just not up to it and we need an upgrade massively

Convinced he won a competition to play in the prem.

Anyone with a left foot who was remotely athletic would be an upgrade.

Same on the other flank.

Criminal we are the only club in the league who can’t find either, year after year.

This is genuinely true.

Was a moment where he was in acres of space and Gana was approaching the edge of the box with the ball, looked at him, kept hold of the ball, realised there were no other options and begrudgingly gave him the ball.

I like him as a character but he's just not a LB good enough to be playing at this level.

Aznou is still probably miles off physically but if we’re going three at the back, with someone as good as branthwaite behind him maybe it’s worth the risk?

If it’s a four, just put garner there or Branthwaite.

He was protected under dyche because the ball was constantly launched over him, he wasn’t asked to go forward and we basically played six at the back.

Now we’re trying to build, open up, and our width comes from our full backs he’s badly exposed.

Id like to hear from Moyes why he left him on.

He absolutely needs upgrading but for me there seems to be a different bar in terms of judgement to patterson. Worst player ever vs done nothing wrong and should play the rest of the season

Hes better than Patterson defensively and while he's pretty awful offensively patterson doesn't really even get involved at that end of the pitch

Both are nowhere near good enough though

I've defended him, but he's been poor on and off for a good while and we can't afford to have no threat from either side at full back. Can't see Aznou being ready soon and that's worrying as Moyes seems to like him.

Patterson is better than him defensively.

Completely disagree. Think Patterson is worse both ends of the pitch and its not a high bar. Significantly worse defensively

It doesn't much matter because clearly we need both replacing

Not a fan of Patterson and can't wait to have a new RB there, but thought he defended very well last night.

Offered absolutely nothing going forward though.

Both need replacing, and I've little doubt we'll see JOB at RB again once Branthwaite is fit enough to start unfortunately.

They’re both ok ish at backs to the wall defending. Sadly if it’s backs to the wall in the PL we need better than ok ish or over 90 mins you’re letting in goals.

Feel slightly more comfortable with Patterson. He looks a little rusty still and could maybe be a bit fitter, which makes me feel like he could get better by the end of the season. Myko, sadly will not.

No way at all that Patterson was worse than him last night.
