Asked before but any idea when the appeal hearing is actually going to take place?

Seems like PL is rolling out Ornstein as part of their defence. Was on NBC Sports saying "Man City's FFP charges '
extremely different' than Everton's" just more work towards setting the expectation that it's so "different" so that's why you can expect different outcomes.
In other words, maybe nothing happens with Man City.
Yeah he seemed very keen to paint a picture where there wasn't a problem with anything that had happened so far. No one really challenged him on the Gary neville podcast either. The question I would have liked him asked was what's fair if City are found guilty as he seemed keen to say we don't know if our punishment is fair until that time.

It's a shame. The immediate fixture was tough and we have some hard games coming up to react to this news.
It's going to be a challenge to get even to 10 pts by the end of the year.
It's going to be a huge challenge to survive again.

At the end of the season when they know how many points will send us down

Appeal apparently goes in tomorrow? They need to make a fist of this.

I think it gets reduced to 6 points. I’d probably take that. Hopefully the club show more fight than I’ve got left in me

I wouldn't bet on any sort of reduction.
We are now 5 points from safety with a very tough run, lots of games and a small squad.
We might be good enough to climb out of this but we're also a couple of injuries away from having to play unproven Beto, Dobbin, and Keane with Young at Left back.
Going to need some squad rotation in December to keep players fit and fresh.

Honestly don’t think there’s a hope in hell that we will get a reduction, why would they ? The PL have an agenda and it doesn’t include giving Everton a break.

I just don't see the PL desperate to put Everton in their place scenario. It's not like we've been causing them trouble for the last 30 years.

It's not about putting Everton in their place, it's about putting "insert any team not the Sky 6" in their place.

Desperately hope we get a reduction but I can't say any of the arguments I've heard so far have made me say 'thats a nailed on reason to reduce' other than maybe just '10 points is insane' which it is!

I'm confident we'll get a reduction.

I’m not confident we’ll get a significant reduction. 3 or 4 points maybe.

Why would they ?
They've already stated they want to set a precedent - giving points back doesn't do that and weakens any semblance of authority they think they may have over it's members.
