Re: Future Captain Harrison Armstrong
If we sell Armstrong to Forest for the same amount we had to pay Burnley then we’ve been caught in a Brexit club pincer movement

Swap deals, not getting a RB.
Been saying we’re potless all window. Happy for the club to prove me wrong.
Potless, now plotless.

Think youve got to look at all the money we wasted last season (without even getting a right back) overspent on players we didnt need and were nowhere near ready and now maybe selling 1 of our best prospects for about half what we spent on players who cant get in our team

Re: Future Captain Harrison Armstrong
Nothing seems to add up. We're meant to be chasing right backs worth 30-40m, we're still pushing for 3-4 signings, we can't get business done but can sell our biggest prospect for a cut rate deal? The finances must be fucked and the rest is just posturing to keep us quiet.

McNulty saying there's no indication we'll accept the offer. Hopefully that remains the case and they get a firm fuck off.
How fucking embarrassing would it be selling one of our only decent home grown players in years to Nottingham fucking Forest.

Re: Future Captain Harrison Armstrong
For what is now a pittance really. If it was 70 or 80m then sure because suddenly they are taking much of the risk. What does 40m buy you though. A left back who was relegated with West ham or half a west ham midfielder or 1 dibling.Gash wrote: ↑Sat Aug 29, 2026 11:59 am McNulty saying there's no indication we'll accept the offer. If they have got any intention of rejecting this they need to announce something - like now, before today’s game

Oh ok ok. This feels better. I suppose if he isn't in the squad then that is it ...?Gash wrote: ↑Sat Aug 29, 2026 11:59 am McNulty saying there's no indication we'll accept the offer. Hopefully that remains the case and they get a firm fuck off.

If we’ve not accepted it and wont entertain offers, then why has he been left out of the squad?
CBA with the game now. FFS Everton.
