This drip feeding of interview snippets is so annoying. I just want to see the full thing. Social media culture is excruciating.

Fairly recently, Lee Carsley played him there when he was managing England.

Played pretty well I believe, although don't really remember those games all that well.

Found a decent little article on him too:

He has a bunch of appearances as a central attacking mid and central midfielder dating back to his Villa days, largely in the Championship.

Ultimately, I think he’ll play wherever we’re going to be able to supply him with the ball at his feet so he can hold it up and help launch counterattacks.

He can play in the ten easily.

Would love to see him there.

Think we need to give him freedom to get the best out of him but he’s not a maverick who just stands still. He works hard and will do the off the ball stuff so won’t be leaving gaps like James did.

Sounds like he’s really motivated but is approaching the age where off the field activities have more of an impact that they used to so it’s up to him to make it work out.

Nothing will ever top the Cenk Tosun to Besiktas welcome video. 🤣

However the team shape ultimately shakes out, you have to say that we’ve done a decent job of replacing willing runners with willing runners who can actually do something with the ball at their feet.

Still work to do in the market but at least we’ve sealed the barest minimum of deals needed to have a functional first eleven.

Play him in his best position then surely?

He's a straight replacement for illiman, good luck to last year's star performer, hope he finds somewhere else he can fit in!

Move Iliman in the middle then.

Something you’ve been calling for quite a lot isn’t it?

No one is prepared for the illiman-grealish left wing overload. We'll see plenty of that and we'll love it.

Can we not have grealish and ndiaye being fluid and interlinking and interchanging ?

Even more so if we get a quality rw too

If we don't manage to secure a instant impact RW I imagine we'll be seeing Grealish on the left and Ndiaye of the right, with KDH and Gana as the 8s

That'll be it for Leeds, for sure.
