Still didn't think this was a deal we could ever do.
Can't wait to see him light up BMD

Says Moyes was a big part of him signing some change in 12 months having a proper respected manager who players want to play for

Nice one.
Hoping to see him off the leash a bit more than the last few seasons, and producing game changing quality throughout the season for us.

Also his comments about Moyes being an important part of the move puts to bed any notion that this is some vanity signing that the Friedkins are foisting upon us.

Exciting signing for sure.
He should really elevate us.
Always a nagging doubt when we make this type of signing though so I’m cautiously optimistic.

I think this will come pretty naturally.
Pep is a control freak in possession. He wants his teams to work the ball in certain patterns not just to make openings but as a defensive tactic as well (the opposition can’t score if they can’t win the ball). Almost no risks are taken until the final ball.
Moyes is rigid about what we do off the ball but puts a lot more onus on players winning individual battles in attack. Think about how often we played the ball to Pienaar on the ground or Fellaini in the air while both players were under pressure and how often them winning that duel helped us create a chance. Grealish is going to get tons of opportunities to show what he can do. As long as he puts the work in tracking back and closing down (no reason to expect him not to), he’s going to have lots of fun.

Yeah - in the past these sort of players have come to us off the back of injuries with the hope of recovering form or right at the end of their career, whereas with Grealish it seems he's been exiled from the City team more due to Pep's change of playing style than anything.
Moyes is clearly targeting players in the 20-25 age range for the rebuild, so I love the thought that we've brought in a generational hero to entice them.

It’s right up there with the James signing and probably surpasses it to be honest given that Grealish is in his prime.
We have got a hell of a player to watch and support. Can’t wait to see him in action.

Feels pretty surreal to have him in the blue.
He's such a personality on and off the pitch, after what we've been through the last few years I never thought we'd be in a position to sign someone like him - and so soon.
Hats off to everyone for pulling this off. Can't wait to watch him play for us.
Apparently he trained with the team today which is a good sign.

More than happy with that, keep Ndiaye on the left where he has been so productive already, and as has been pointed out, we should have some degree of fluidity to our play/positioning where they can swap around. Hopefully our inevitable new right winger/inside forward will fit into that dynamic too.
