Keep because we have a lot of young midfielders who aren't yet proven, but only under the assumption Gana is used rarely and only when required.

Let go. He is past his best and Moyes will only overplay him anyway which takes minutes off the younger lads so take away the temptation.

I think Gana, Garner and KDH will always be shoe in’s for Moyes

Good point, I'd say keep if it weren't for that fact.

Hes been fantastic over both spells. Really pulled us out the shit in this second one, raising the standard in midfield massively.

But it is time to go after this season. I prefer different types of centre midfielders. Ones you can rely on to break teams down with creative play at home, ones that can sit at the base and dictate the play, or ones with an eye for a goal.

I think hes one of the reasons we struggle at home, we're not a threat going forward when teams sit back.

Wouldn't be against another year but sorry Moyes won't use uok as the experienced pro who should be used sparingly.

We need to have that Gana conversation we’ve all been dreading.

60 minutes then off for me super player and was brilliant for us but need more quality on the ball and the clock is ticking

His stats percentage for giving the ball away must be right up there with his interceptions.

He's still a good player, but I think 2 things are apparent right now:

1) He's dropped a level from where he was last season.
2) We have 3 young dynamic CMs who desperately need game time and are the future, which Gana isn't.

You can't play all the young CMs together as you need game know how in there, experience to help them through a game, and so I understand him playing,. especially if Garner is moved out of there. However the obvious solution to that is play Patterson RB and leave Garner in there as the experienced head.

It's time to drop Gana, which is a shame, but it's he right thing to do.

When we are chasing a game and need a goal it always seems to drop to him at the edge of the box I love the guy but we need to start phasing him out

All the good bits to his game are still there and he is of a quality few in the squad can match, but.. he is dropping off in games, having more 5/10 or 6/10 games more often, which is understandable, but I don’t want us to have another Coleman situation where he doesn’t get replaced for a decade and it hurts us season after season.

And the bad bits? Well the only weakness in his game which I think is a problem is how often he gives away possession. It’s becoming more frequent and more costly. Maybe he has more opportunities because he’s on the ball more than other players, but nonetheless, he’s giving the ball away far too much and it’s a problem imo.
