If this was 3pm they’d be no way they could play it.

All the roads and paths are completely iced over.

Temperature isn't set to rise too much and although the main roads are passable now it's set for another freeze and side roads are a nightmare

If it's playable just now it doesn't seem like there's going to be any major change in the weather to make it unplayable later.
A Met Office yellow warning of snow and ice was in place across Merseyside on Thursday morning but the BBC forecasts no further snow for the day.

Temperatures are also expected to stay above freezing until midnight.

Id selfishly love for it to be called off. Im rough as fuck at the moment and I feel sitting in the cold for 2 hours probably isn't whats needed.

I’m only about 2 miles from the ground and its not bad near me. Main roads are fine

Think the decision will be more around travel to and from the game and with all Merseyrail trains being off that could have a big impact
