Leicester City to fall foul of PSR?
Re: Leicester City to fall foul of PSR?
Apparently West Broms is only a minor infringement over disagreement on interest on a loan the same as our second deduction.

I believe the rules now say the punishment has to be applied the same season as the infringement, so they have to do it this season
Re: Leicester City to fall foul of PSR?
West brom currently winning as well.
As it stands Leicester 8 adrift with only 9 available to play for.

I mean they're down now. 8 points off with 3 matches to go. Insane.
Re: Leicester City to fall foul of PSR?
Leicester fans didn't even stay to boo them off..
Fair play, had a squad that should never have won the PL, 10 years later had a squad that should never have been relegated from the Championship. Kind of nicely bookends the ten year anniversary.

Re: Leicester City to fall foul of PSR?
Wonder how many points they’ll be deducted next season, not sure Skipp on 50k or Vestergaard on 60k are sustainable on League One money

West Brom 8pts clear of the drop after 2 successive wins. Wonder how many points they'll get taken.
Re: Leicester City to fall foul of PSR?
Mad how a plane crash completely changed the direction of the club.
They've been awful and deserve to go down but I do think it's another thing that highlights how terrible PSR is. They've had it hanging over them for a few years and finally get the points deducted which results in them being relegated to league one.
There's nothing sustainable about punishing clubs to the extent they can't refresh their squad and it directly impacts them dropping down the leagues.
I'm not advocating this as the solution but if you had basically let Leicester spend what they wanted in these years without any punishment, I guarantee you they'd be in a healthier position as a club financially and in terms of its future than they are right now after suffering under the PSR rules.

Re: Leicester City to fall foul of PSR?
I don’t think a former top flight champion in England has ever fallen down so far so quickly.
Imagine an alternative reality where Brendon Rodgers wasn’t so sulky three years ago.

But for a Pickford penalty save against these it could have well been us under Moshiri. Scary
