Almost this exact team were chanting racist, homophobic songs about the French a year or so ago.

Argentina currently doesn't have a law that criminalises racism.

In the 1800s a third of the Argentine population was black. They sent all their black populations to die in wars, and invited Italians and Spaniards to settle there. Unlike most of South America, black people are now a tiny minority in Argentina, and they've only had 3 black players in their entire history to this day.

England rugby players were recently racially abused by Argentine fans.

There's a million other terrible examples of the prevalence of racism in Argentine society.
