Yes but obviously with the idea he became backup to a much better player next season.

Just a terrible player unfortunately.

I’d let him run that down. Dead money.

Probably needs a good loan somewhere, I'd rather that than him sit on the bench most days.

The only player that was poor today. When he has a poor game defending, he doesn’t offer much else.
He is one of the only players on the ball that also panics in the team. Can’t really think of many others that just boot the ball away like he does. It’s a real problem.
I certainly wouldn’t be offering him big wages on a long contract. You could look to extend, but only on our terms.

No surprise to anyone though, is it? I don't know anyone who genuinely rates Mykolenko
At best he is a good defender.

This was one of Benitez’s legacies at Everton, I an even imagine him sticking two fingers up and laughing before he got his payoff package

On his best days he's a decent defender but that does seem to be his ceiling. Think if Aznou was pushing for a start or getting any minutes at all it would be less of a worry. Seems like he's miles away from that.

I like him, still think defensively he's decent but fuck me he's so negative on the ball, we could be on the edge of the opposition box and I reckon he'd still find a way back to Pickford. The most annoying thing about that is he's got a decent cross on him but everything goes square or backwards.

When he randomly takes a shot on he's got a good shot as well. Just don't think he'll ever have the confidence to be more progressive.

Involved in one of our goals today with a nice cross, but yeah it's sooooo rare that one swallow doesn't make a summer. If he did that a bit more often it's help a whole lot!
