Well I can see facts are the women’s team has been sold, the figure mentioned is what’s called an estimate based on the same formula as Chelsea rather than a guess without foundation but whatever you want to believe is fine.
As one of the first to call out information, I'm surprised you can't see the wood for the trees here.
The facts are the woman's team has not been sold. It's been transferred. According to companies house, not some random journo.
The figure is no more official than "Chelsea did this, so if the exact same formula was used, it would be worth that".

Ok, seems the Esk might be agreeing with me. So maybe I might have got it wrong haha:

"It is positive news because it means there is the opportunity for more money to come into the women's team from a minority investor. There wasn't enough attention given to the women's team under the old ownership group."
The start of that article remains guess work.

In Esk-adjacent news, apparently Witsel has been playing centre back for Atletico Madrid?
Strange turn for a player whose career was already kind of weird.
Not bothered that we didn’t end up signing him.

Not clear yet whether this has a PSR implication or not in my opinion.

Seems like it might be a way to increase paper value to sell more shares. So if they have more investors ready to pump money into the Everton company that is now worth more than it was yesterday….

That's legitimately my take on it. It is good for the women's team and it is good for the club as a whole - but we haven't immediately created any PSR-loophole allowances in the same way Chelsea did.

I realise I'm late to the party on this but I didn't realise Dan Friedkin was a TV and movie producer - just watching Landman and his name came up as primary producer. We've gone from theatre impresario to hollywood exec via dodgy accountant for russian oligarch.
Also fun fact: Dan Friedkin won Taurus stunt award for Best Speciality Stunt when he piloted an authentic Spitfire through an aerial dogfight and landed on the beach in the Nolan film Dunkirk!
Beat that FSG!

They have a few weeks to right what is a very poor window so far. The sounds coming out from Moyes are not inspiring great confidence. They got through their first crisis with flying colours in replacing Dyche. Not looking so good now. It’s all a bit haphazard. Part of it is where we are in the pecking order but we fundamentally have to get back to being a properly run club. Doesn’t feel we are there yet. It will take more time unfortunately.

TFG need to really started ruffling and few feathers and banging some heads of senior club officials. Serious questions need to be asked as to why the club are not making more of the opportunities to market itself out in USA.
No shirts, no club reps or marketing merchandise at any of the three venues/cities. Just so poor.

I attended the one at the metlife and that was true of all the clubs. There was generic premierleague promotion all over the place but very little to no materials targeting a specific club outside of fan stuff.
