Yeah £5.75m apparently.

However we're due to start paying for him so at least we're recouping a good chunk of it.

I know it's not quite the same as we paid a signing on fee and agents fees, but it's effectively been a one year loan that cost us £5.75m... not the biggest waste of money we've seen in recent times.

Would have loved it to work out, but deep down I know I'll spend the next two - three years flip flipping from "he's crap" to "maybe he's got something" until he leaves on a free.

I immediately discounted it for the same reason.

But then i saw Mourinho. No way he's going somewhere that wont sign players surely?

Would be incredible business to turn this deal into only a small loss.
