😂

Like a dog with a bone!

You’re right brother - it is not senior if it is U21, but Escalator and others are right too that there were senior players playing in that non-senior/youth comp.

It’s like the story of the three blind men describing an elephant. One touches its trunk and describes it like a snake, one touches its leg and describes it like a tree and the last one touches its tail and describes it like a piece of rope.

You’re all right, but please feel free to keep arguing your perspectives for our entertainment.

Does that come across a bit sanctimonious and condescending? Probably, because I’m a cunt.

I’m not sure why it matters either way. Ultimately he was a 23ur old playing against youth team players or other 23yr olds who weren’t good enough for any senior football and their U21 manager was also using them as a ringer to get a leg up on the opposition. He was the best RB in the tournament of kids or sort of ok 23yr olds. 🏆

I’d bet my mortgage that he was constantly asking Harvey Elliot what it was like to hear the famous Anfield crowd sing you’ll never walk alone on one of those famous Anfield European nights.

I think the thread is probably for news relating to players who are selected primarily for teams playing in competitions that are defined by their below senior age status, despite at times having individuals of outstanding quality or even over age (Jonny Evans until recently?).

Good start!

Be surprised if Tyrer, Welch and Dixon don't go out on loan

Good for him. Getting players to good loan destinations has been a priority forever, I think we’re starting to do a bit better.

Aside: Wouldn’t ever work for our home shirt but I always think gold lettering looks classy. When’s the last time we tried it? The purple LCS third kit we never wore?

Blue and gold absolutely go together. That’s how I’ve decorated my office! 😂
