I think Barry and the wedding venue were done pretty swiftly.

Gives us until the 16th to get a RW in.

Get a fucking cunting move on Everton.
I don't think any new signing now will start against Leeds tbh.

Probably make the subs bench, but the ship has sailed for someone new to start on the RW I reckon.

If KDH ends up playing as a 10, it’d mean less shuffling for Doucouré – could actually work with Dom dropping deeper to link play. Still think we’re crying out for pace out wide though. On the structure concerns: the JB links won’t go away while Branthwaite’s still here, but hopefully Collwill’s injury doesn’t spark panic buys...

I don't want to be the one to break this to you, but both Doucoure and Dom left at the end of last season.

Apologies if this is upsetting, but someone needed to tell you.

You're forgetting Saxon Wilson can see into the future, where we re-sign both Doucoure and DCL.

At first I thought it was a brilliant post taking the piss about needing to resign them.
Then it devolved quickly

Lots to do.

Need a starting RB and RW. Probably want two CMs - one squad filler (Brownhill) and one who is a proper 6 (Lopy).

Would like a backup striker as well to send Chermiti on loan.

5 players needed for me, two or three of those should be competing for first team spots.

I suspect we've got maybe £60-£70m to spend at most so it seems unlikely.

Dibling
Grealish
Lopy
Maitland-Niles
Brownhill
Vardy

Something in the neighborhood of that.

This would be class.

You’ve forgot Jack Harrison, though.

Having laid all that out, I kinda see why Moyes might not be interested in Grealish if he’s transitioning into more of a 4-3-3.

I think there’s also an argument to spend less than what Dibling would cost on Fellows or Doak and spend more on a No. 6.

Maybe we can raise an extra £10-15m bombing McNeil out and that makes Grealish more doable. I can feel Moyes’ contempt for him in the way he’s being deployed this preseason.

Might also be the time to experiment with McNeil as a left back. Coleman being next trustworthy man up at left back is rough because I don’t think he can handle the physical demands of the job anymore. Also, playing left mid for Dyche isn’t far off playing left back. Certainly equivalent to playing wing back.

There's no reason McNeil can't be backup at LB while Myko is out.
